PADI Divemaster

The PADI Divemaster course is the first stage towards gaining a professional scuba diving qualification. This course will develop your leadership skills so that you can supervise dive activities and assist with diver training.

Who can take this course?

You must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver

You must be at least 18 years old

You must have logged 40 scuba dives

You must have completed an Emergency and First Response Primary and Secondary Care course within the past 24 months

You must have been medically evaluated by a doctor and cleared for diving within 12 months

What does the course involve?

Classroom sessions and independent study

A range of practical exercises through confined and open water dives

You will need a minimum of 50 logged dives to complete the Divemaster qualification

The course will cover a range of topics: supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers, diver safety and risk management, dive setup and management, mapping an open water site, conducting dive briefings
